Graduate Support
Growing our future
At Franklin Vets, we are committed to building a skilled, engaged team focused on preventative medicine and practical problem-solving to create long-term, trusted client relationships.
We offer a two-year graduate program with workshops, mentorship, and scholarships to support new vets in clinical and professional development.

2 year Grad Programme
A structured three-year graduate programme run with Vetent:- Year 1: 8 full days of group training.
- Year 2: 3 full days + 3 half days.
Graduates join cohort-based sessions away from day-to-day work and complete clinic rotations, our Fully Charged Resilience Programme, and bi-monthly case reviews.
Support & professional development
Senior practitioners from Franklin Vets and Vetent facilitate interactive case-based sessions covering certification, communication, health & safety, and farm business.
External health and financial specialists contribute, and veterinary specialists deliver advanced topics (ophthalmology, dermatology, endocrinology, orthopaedics).
Student Placements and Scholarships
We support Massey Veterinary School students with hands-on placements alongside our vets, technicians, and nurses. We offer 25 Seeing Practice scholarships of $350 for 5th-year students to help cover costs.
To register interest for 2025 and beyond, email [email protected] with your clinic preference and availability. Scholarships are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis

Graduate opportunities
