Dr Jordan McGimpsey BVSc (Dist.)

Jordan is originally from the New Forest in England and grew up in Pukekohe. She graduated from Massey University in 2018 and joined the Taupiri team in early 2019. Jordan’s interests include most aspects of production animal medicine. She is especially motivated by working with dairy farmers to improve animal health and production at the herd level, but still loves calving cows come spring. She has a special interest in preventative health and disease management, as well as improving milk quality and reproduction.

Outside of work, Jordan is passionate about cricket and can be found each summer avidly supporting the Blackcaps, unless they are playing England, of course! She is also a massive foodie and has recently taken up Pilates. Jordan and her husband have a golden retriever and a ginger kitten. 

Jordan is currently on maternity leave.
