Sophie Hamilton

Sophie grew up on a sheep farm in Canterbury but has called the North Island home for the past decade. She first joined Franklin Vets in 2015 after completing her Certificate in Rural Animal Technology. After a short time away, she returned in 2022 to take on the role of Vet Technician Coordinator.

In this role, Sophie is responsible for developing policies and processes for the vet tech team and coordinating training and continuing professional development. She enjoys all aspects of working as a large animal technician, with a particular interest in young stock health.

Outside of work, Sophie enjoys spending time with friends and heading out on adventures with her little dog, Ralph.
